Ban Ban Dhoondan Jaon

Entry-Set Scene
Taa Tai Tai Taa for 2 lines R hand from Kataka to Alapadma, L hand Lata.
Stop at center stage.
Show Thickets, Greenery, Vines, and Ban etc.
Single flowers in 2 opposite corners, double flower lounge + 3 deer leaps and watch it go.
Swara changes.
Bird flies, perches, coos, coos, coos.
A bee, girl afraid, shields herself in opposite direction and spins.
Circle with a flat overhead karkatam and fall in the “O no, the arrow’s gonna pierce my heart, so let me watch it come and sulk.”- Pose.

Ban Ban Dhoondan Jaon Main…
- Look around and Get up.
- Look R and L, spin.
- Walk 1-2-3 to both sides, and then indicate S-search and myself.
- DDT to both sides and S-Search.
- Show Tree. Unfold Leaves.
- Show a Thicket of jasmine and peek through it.
- Ask the cooing birds: Krishna? No!
- Ask Moon: Krishna? No!
Khith Hoon Chip Gaye Krishna Murare…
- Ask audience where with Shikaram. Hide with overlapping chatusrams and Krishna with Peacock.
- Tell me. Peeking Hide and Krishna with cow.
- Pull someone’s arm. Tell me, have you seen Krishna?
- Tap shoulder. Krishna? No!
- Ban Ban Dhoondan Jaon Main…
Overhead Taa Tai Tai Taa Spin.
Sees Mukut Aur Kanan Kundal…
- Show Crown going across, prathyalidam. Then show Earrings and the part that hangs. On the R corner.
- Show the Peacock Crown, and the dangling Earrings, on L corner.
- Show how gems were embedded, put on crown and do double Peacock Crown hop.
- Show Ear, hold out dangling piece and then show it on ear, and its brightness with karthari.
Bansi Dhara Man Rang Phirat Giridhari…
- Play Flute, and show the heart and joy. Then do Govardhana pose 8 counts?
Triple Ending Ban Ban
- Look Around for both corners, Search and spin.



First Swara
- Show a River while lunging. Stroke water searching and pout. Spin
- Diagonal Adavu, but for fwd lunge: Step, lunge like peacock and shake feathers. Do to both sides.
- Leap-cross with Deer 4 times and leap 2 to corner. Do to both sides.
- 4 Thattu Mettu Takitas while searching =DDT R and L. Do to both sides. Double hand circles, pull apart bines and 
Second Swara
- 4 Taa Tai Tai Taas, Krishna plays flute and does 4 raas all around. Girls hold Aanchal with 2 DDTs and do up-down Raas spin.
- Radha comes for 2 Taa tai tai taas while Krishna pulls for two taa tai tai taas. The hold hands and spin in 4 DDTs. Then Krishna pulls her back and forth in opposite directions quickly.
- Teacup to 4 corners with alternating Radha-Krishna landings.
- Jump step DDTT to both steps. Tai hat dit tai. With 12DDTT,12DDTT,12DDT OH.
- Spin 123 DDT.
- Then Radha Looking at Krishna with Krishna looking back pose.
- Exit. Applause!

Scheduled Activities:

Gajja Pooja -- Monday, Nov. 24th 2003 at 7:30 pm @ Bihani House
Rehearsal-- following dinner.

Rehearsal -- Tuesday, Nov. 25th at 9 pm @Bihani house

Practice -- Wednesday, Nov. 26th -- 8 pm @ Seneca-- Gopal, Thumbs and Vij will not be available

Final Major Rehearsal -- Thursday Nov 27th @ Rajkumar House STARTING AT 1:30 PM

Final Final Rehearsal -- Friday, Nov. 28th @ Rajkumar House at 5 pm

Show day procedure:

Makeup for Nina will be @ Rajkumar house
9 am -- meeting time for sound crew @ the hall
10 am -- sound check begins
10 am -- All performers must be at the hall
11 am -- backstage crew -- ironed costumes must be hung up and readied
12:20pm -- on stage pooja pre-show
12:28 pm -- all positions

Showtime: Precisely at 12:30 pm EST. Om starts at this time.

Clean up and breakdown: We will need as much help as possible for this because we have to be completely out of the hall before 5 pm EST.
